LOL! In my second pregnancy, my genitals got very swollenSwollen glands..they were a purplish/red color. It is due to all the extra blood and pressure. You're not deformed!! It will all go back to normal size and appearance after you deliver. : ) Oh, it is also called "getting juicy", some OBs use this term to describe these symptoms...sounds a little perverted, I know.
Yeah, I'm one of the lucky ones with varicose veins too :-( I have a few on my legs that look and feel like raised bruises, and my labia is swollen too. My obgyn said it's not uncommon and that, unfortunately, it will just continue to get worse until delivery...as the weight of your uterus (and baby) increases and puts more pressure on the veins. Oh well, it's all worth it for a healthy baby!
