Vicodin in late pregnancy

Anyone take vicodin throughout their pregnancy? I am about to deliver and I have a prescription (from my OBGYN). I WAS taking about 40mg but am now down to 15-20mg.
If anyone has been through this, I am interested in hearing your story- at this dose, will the baby have a dependancy? Should I just continue tapering?
Thanks

You absolutely need to work with your Dr. on this.  I am not certain which dosage will cause a dependancy with your baby, but if this is prescription, they will be prepared for it and be able to care for you and your baby properly.  If you are tapering or quitting, only do so on Dr.'s advice and guidance.  Good luck to you.

I don't have any experience with this, but I would speak to your OB since they are the ones who prescribe it. They should be able to tell you about dependency and if it would be better for you to slowly get off them or not.
