I am also starting the lovely pregnancy headaches. I am prone to migraines and see a neurologist on a regular basis (I have trigeminal neuralgia on top of that).  They are debilitating at times.  My neurologist prescribed Tylenol with Codiene which is a category B, considering you follow the dosage instructions.  Honestly, it doesn't help much.  This morning I woke up and it felt like I had a rubber band around my head (two sizes TOO small).  I work 10-12hr shifts as a nurse......makes it difficult to care for patients when I am in pain - so I can empathize with your situation.  I am 14 weeks and 3 days.  If anyone has a solution, let us know!

Tylenol is also the only med my midwife would let me take. I also got bad headaches from about week 8 - week 18. I was told it was due to hormones. Really tylenol didn't touch them but they did stop eventually.

Tylenol is the only safe OTC that my High Risk OB put on approved list of medicines for headaches/bodyaches. I am not sure about the Therma Care Heating Pads, that would be a good question for you doctor/nurse.

I know that when I was pregnant if I did not drink enough water I got awful headaches. Maybe try staying a little more hydrated and see if that start to go away!

Enjoy your little beany!

I do know Tylenol is safe to take while pregnant. Your RE should have a list of all acceptable meds available for use. Just call your nurse and ask.
