Wow, I really don't know what is going on with this one.  U/S scheduled for the 14th.  At least by then they should definitely see something so I will know for sure.  I have heard of "slow starters" before but never really believed it.  We'll see though - I am still not convinced this will stick but whatever happens happens!

I ditto Rachel's remarks!  How do you know there wan't 2 to begin with and maybe 1 didn't make it but the other is plugging right along? :-)  I say lets all think positive good thoughts for you and hopefully you'll get GREAT news at the U/S.  Jeez, you have to wait 2 weeks?  I'm so impatient so that is a long time for me :-)

Wow... great jump.  I never gave up until I was sure after seeing the u/s but my numbers never did jump.  So glad to see your number's improving.

They would have scheduled the u/s sooner but since I am only 5w right now they might not have seen anything.  I was hoping to get in the 9th or 10th but they were booked so the 14th it is.  I just want to be at the point where I know they should see something so it is definite.  Boy this is a real weird one!!  Makes me a little nervous though...

Great news!!!  You know, I have read a lot about this sort of thing happening.  My OB took my first levels this time and they were only 33.  That's why she had me wait a week before the second draw.  I guess it's not that uncommon for this to happen in early pregnancy.  Another OB told me that the old doubling standard is just proving to be unreliable...they go mainly by ultrasound now.  As long as numbers are rising, it's good news!  I'm so happy for you, I hope things keep looking good!

The 14th is so far from now, but I can undersand why you would want to wait.. if it is too soon it might just further complicate it.
