What travel vaccines are a complete no no during early pregnancy?

by muffin9190, Nov 06, 2009 05:59AM
I'm just thinking ahead. I'm not sure whether I am actually pregnant yet but if I am it would be very early days. However, I have just been told that in the New Year maybe Jan/Feb I will be going to do a work assignment in Nigeria (Im a journalist). I would like to go if I'm safe as its an opportunity. I want to keep any pregnancy private at the moment as I am over 40 and I will certainly need an amnio test for downs syndrome.

From what I remember \9when i was going to travel there before) the only travel vacs I need are malaria and yellow fever. My question is....will any of these in any form be safe in early pregnancy or should I just not go and risk it?
