When did I get pregnant

I miscarried twins September 11th.  After I had periods that were only 20 days apart and were quite heavy.  I believe my last period was sometime around the 15 16th of November.  I was wondering with only 20 day cycles would my ovulation been alot earlier.  Also a few days ago I took a few pregnancy tests and they were all positive.  (Im excited but worried because of miscarriages).  I havn't yet called to make my first prenatal appointment yet.  How do I know how far along I am?

Thank you LJ307 and lastminutemama.  That makes alot of sence(sp).  Its been such a crazy week.  Hopefuly everything will slow down a bit.  I already have five kids and it seems this past week was a blur of shopping, school programs, back and forth to airports and morning sickness.  Im just hoping that there will be someone in my OB's office.  Im really anxious because im afraid im going to just miscarry again.  Im usually really good about keeping track of my cycles but I had bought one of those huge calanders where you tear off the month when its done.  I think im going to buy another one.

Before my miscarriage I was 29 - 30 days.  But I could feel ovulation still about day 10.  I usually cramp hard when I  ovulate.  Unfortunately,  I havn't been paying as much attention.  Thank you so much for your thoughts.  I havn't been able to really talk to anyone yet.

Yes..I think something like 6 weeks is possible but how long were your cycles before you miscarried? A miscarriage can make them longer or shorter for some months.
Calculators always tell you you ovulate 14 days before your next period, which is not always correct so around 22 of november you conceived. Add the two weeks "bonus" and you're  a little further than six weeks! CONCRATULATIONS!

Count 6 days from the start of your last cycle.  You said you started your period around the 15th or 16th of Nov.?  Let's say you started on the 15 and you have 20 day cycles.   Then that means you ovulated around day 6 of your cycle.  So, you would have ovulated around the 20th.  Pregnancy calendars start counting from before day one of your cycle.  So, I think you are something like 6 weeks 5 days?  Make that appt.tomorrow.  CONGRATULATIONS!!!
