When symptoms go..

Hi all, hope everyone is doing great :-) I just have one question for today. Is it normal after the first 4 weeks for pregnancy symptoms to lull abit? All I have now are sore boobs, hardly any cramping and my high blood pressure, oh and the insomnia!

My symptoms came and went in the first trimester and that is pretty common.  As adgal said, I would only be concerned if all symptoms completely and suddenly disappeared, and even then it does not mean for certain that there is a problem.  Personally I really appreciated a day or two break from that nausea!  Good luck and congrats on your pregnancy.

some people don't have many symptoms at all, or find they come and go.

the sore puppies is a good one though!

Symptoms come and go, that is very normal.  I used to have what I began to refer to as my "days' off".  No symptoms, not even sore breasts, nothing at all.

The only time there may be cause for some concern is a sudden and complete cessastion of all symptoms prior to end of first trimester.  That can sometimes be one indicator of a loss.  It isn't necessarily thought, so if that happens there is no reason for panic, just should be reported to your OB.

Everyone is different. I didn't have ANY symptoms until 6 weeks and then they lasted until about 15.
