Which is cheaper

I just found out that I can not have artificial insemination because I have a tubal ligation. I was told that my best bet is IVF. Which procedure is cheaper Tubal Reversal or IVF? Can someone give me an approximate of the cost of either one of these procedures? How do I go about looking for a doctor who specializes in either one of these procedures? My tubal was done in Germany 15 years ago, and I will not be able to get my operative notes. Will that be a problem for me as far as the length of time my tubes has been tied, and also as far as the operative notes? This is my second marriage and my husband wants a child. He doesn't have any, and I would like to make his dream of having a child come true. I am 43 and I don't want to wait too long. If there is anyone out there with answers to my questions please help me. I would really appreciate that. Thanks.

i pm'd you i read your post earlier and went off that information i see now though you cannot get your medical records.. so im not sure if an RE would do some sort of x ray or how he would determine if a reversal is possible... i did both procedures,, ivf first but wish i wouldve just dove right in for the reversal as it was cheaper and i have 12 months out of the year to conceive instead of one shot with lots of emotions..
