after iud

How easy/hard is it to get pregnant after an iud removal?? Is it something I have to stress over before going back on serious birth control??

I had 2 Mirenas over 7 years & absolutely it messes with your system.....in MANY MANY ways you wouldn't think. Sometimes I think I should contact a lawyer regarding all the problems I experienced. Once I had the stupid thing removed, almost all issues stopped except for not being able to get pregnant. After my miscarriage, my doctor put me on progesterone supplements to help support this pregnancy & here I am one day from my due date! Like I said earlier, I will NEVER have another one!

Morning ladies. Don't want to upset anyone,  but I'm in a middle of my 2 nd miscarriage. Whew this one is by far worst than the first. First time I was 4 weeks, this time I had made it to 7 weeks but went in for ultrasound to hear heart beat  instead was told and saw an empty sac. Is it worth going through this again in the hopes that one of my eggs make it? So far I've been able to get pregnant without difficulty but the  pregnancies are failing. Any advice.?what about IVF?

Depends on which one you go on.  I think Marana messes with your cycle, so it takes several months to regain a cycle and start ovulation patern.  I think the copper iud is less or no hormones,  so you are still ovulating when on it or off it.  I had mine removed in June and nd was pregnant in Aug.

Had mine removed April 2013, pregnant January 2014. I had lots of issues from having 2 IUDs over a span of 7 years. After what I've been through, I will never have another one!
