all day sickness

I'm really trying to be a good sport about this morning sickness...but I'm staring to lose hope. My days are endless and at 14 weeks I don't see light at the end of the tunnel. I just want to cry.

I totally understand how you feel. Mine finally started letting up around 14 weeks but by then I was depressed and felt hopeless because it isn't like a cold where you know a few days from now there's and end to the misery. There's just no knowing. Best I can say is KNOW you aren't alone and that there are and were a lot of women in your shoes and we all made it through somehow. I will not have another baby because I have been suffering greatly for 6 months and can't do it again. There's an essential oil inhaler I got off Amazon that helped a tiny bit. A little relief goes a long way with nausea I know!

I understand. With my first 3 pregnancies, the nausea subsided by 14wks +/-a few days.  Im preg with #4 now, and was SO looking forward to that precious week 14 when I would feel human again.  That week came and went....so did weeks 15, 16, and now...17.  I'm confused and devastated that I still feel so sick. I was NOT expecting this.  I'm at the point where I don't know if it will ever end.  I'm tired of TREATING it so I can tolerate life. I want it FINISHED. LOL!  (laughing...but not really!)

I see I'm not alone. I've tried every medication. I'm now on diclegis and Zantac don't know if it even helps. I'm nauseasted all day but don't throw up till late evening. Full stomach is better then empty I found. They keep telling me to push water that nausea is a result of lack of water. I HATE it. The nurse also said protein at each meal. I just want some sort of a life back I feel like I'm neglecting my guys and kids. The exhaustion goes away so that's good news! Thanks for sharing your stories. We are all in the same boat.

Oh goodness! I'm in the same boat! It started at 4w and I'm 11w now. All day everyday! It's so hard to have hope when every other second you're either vomiting or trying not to vomit. And then the exhaustion! Then the doctors say to be happy because it's a good sign! Ugh! It's a miserable existence. I feel ya! Applesauce, thousands of tiny sips of water, chicken broth, toast, & sugary cinnamon rolls also stay down oddly enough (no raisins!). Occasionally a chocolate protein shake with crushed ice and bananas will stay down if I sip it slow enough. I've also tried ginger tea and candy. It just burns my tummy. Just basically turn into an invalid for a few weeks and nurse yourself gently. I just hope I don't get fired for this sickness! SMH

I really did think my morning sicknesses at night would stop once I hit 12 weeks but im 13 weeks now and I have had it with the nausea and vomiting and that feeling you get before you puke with the excess water in your mouth. I cant even look at fish let alone eat it, I hate peanut butter and anything its in for what it does to me. I have promethazine but id be asleep all day if I really took it the way I needed. Baked fries and all manner of carbs go down great which is a no no for me. Thanks for letting me vent!

It can be really hard and I'm not going to sugarcoat it.  I'm still puking a few times a week at 38 weeks.  The good news is that it does get easier.  It will either go away during the second trimester or you'll get used to vomiting/nausea and it won't hurt as much to puke. Talk to the doc about managing it.  You may benefit from anti nausea drugs.  I did acupuncture starting at 6 weeks which helped me but I couldn't go 2-3 x/wk as recommended and it wasn't covered by insurance.  Good luck mama.  Hang in there.  For most people it subsides by 16-18 wks.  It went away for me during my first preg but this time it was just worse.  I found rice, rice water, rice chex, Rice Krispie treats stayed down most of the time. If you're puking every1-2 hours you need to call OB and get an IV for the dehydration.

I remember feeling the same exact way.  It truly does get better. Believe it or not but COLD APPLE SAUCE really helped.  I was very skeptical at first but my bf read online to try it.  Good luck, hope you feel better soon :-)
