conceived late in cycle

I have just found out im pregnant with my 2nd child...im about 4weeks.We have been trying for about 6months and been using ovulation kits.We needed clomid for our first baby so was quite surprised to be pregnant naturally as i expected to need it again. The thing is i have varied cycles anywhere between 30-40 days, ovulating between 14-24 days. I actually conceived on day 24...is there more chance of miscarriage or things going wrong if you conceive so late....my luteal phase is still about 14 days. Thanks XXX

It does not matter when you ovulate. With my little girl I ovulated around day 21 and all was fine.

Congrats and enjoy the 9 months ahead of you!!

Hi,

I think I conceived about day 25 or 26 of my cycle.  Most unsual as I normally have az 28 day cycle.

All will still be fine.  It's when you ovulate that's the determining factor for pregnancy.  But long or short cycle doesn't really matter.
