My babies were both 6lbs 13 oz i used 2 newborns, size 1 for about 4 months then went to 2. I heard babies use on average 70 diapers a week i dont remember using that much but my baby is 6 almost 7 i have another due in 9 days so youll need lots of 1`s

The shops will still be open when baby is born. As long as you have a support person just have a small supply of newborn and 1 and get someone to get more of what you need later

I always get like 2 packs of size 1. The boxes tell you what weight they will fit. Mine fit 8-12 lbs. Then I started buying size 2. U never know how big ur baby will be but usually stores will allow exchanges on unopened packages if u need to swap them out. U could also ask for gift cards for your shower gifts and use those to purchase later

I would only get a couple packs of newborn and mainly buy a lot of size one. That's what I did. But I had 10.2 and 9.3 pound boys so they didn't fit in newborn long. But you will use size one for a while.
