early ultrasound

I have PCOS & fibroids...started our 1st round of Clomid February and we are PREGNANT!! :) Yesterday we went for our initial ultrasound . I'm @ 6wks however Dr was unsure if she saw the baby or.one of my fibroids.... Hormones have doubled in the last 2 days... Did more blood work and have a follow up on Monday... Has anybody else experienced an "early " detection of g-sac& fetus ???

PCOS does make it tough to properly date due to irregular cycles and ovulation.  Some do see more at 6 weeks, some don't.  It's so stressful I know, that waiting is the worse.  However, I would be hopeful if your levels are increasing and for now assume all is well.  Congrats on your pregnancy!

I have severe PCOS...i used clomid both pregnancies...i think it makes it much harder to pinpoint ovulation and dates...i went at 6w for my viability u/s and there was no heartbeat...went back one week later and i measured 6w6d w/a heartbeat :) im currently 23w5d !! so dont worry its still early and if you ovulated late you may not be 6w yet...i would say in the next 10 days or so you should see a little bean!! it took me two rounds both pregnancies...you were very lucky to have success the first round!!! CONGRATS!!
