faint heart beat at 7 weeks

I'm curious if anyone has has a similar experience.  I went for a transvaginal ultrasound at 6 weeks(first pregnancy), and it turned out that the baby was only 5weeks 2days so no heartbeat... Went back at 7weeks for a 2nd transvaginal ultrasound ans the heartbeat was very weak and the bay is developing slowly.  My doctor advised me to wait another week and come back for a 3ed ultrasound.  She said that there is a 5% chance that things could be ok... And prepared me with 3 options: natural miscarriage, induced miscarriage with pills or a DNC.  So now I just wait.... Hard to think it maybe over.... But now giving up yet. Any advice or support is greatly appreciated.  Thank u!

Last year i had a similar situation.  It ended up being a blighted oven. It's the body's way of recognizing that something is not right and it rejects the pregnancy. Im now pregnant again and so far everything is good.  I even have extreme morning sickness which is said to be a good sign if a healthy pregnancy.

Thanks for your response. I'm actually going to the hospital for mt next ultrasound (only bc the normal ultrasound technician is on vacation) so I'm hoping maybe the technology is even better so we can get more info. Positive vibes!  I don't know what my levels are now... So that's also a good question.  Best of luck to you too!

I'm so what in a similar situation and from what I have been googling do not let the dr terminate your pregnancy. I've read where the dr misdiagnosed patients. If it's God's will it will happen naturally. My levels aren't doubling and Dr thinks it may be a blighted ovum since nothing was seen in the ultrasound.  Stay positive and speak this heathly baby into existence. We have to hang in th here. Best of luck.
