Well, at least you get an us on the 17th, that's exciting. I have an appt on the 18th but that's just to confirm pregnancy. I think that I will request an us about 7-8 weeks just to see the HB. Hopefully he will agree after a previous mc. We can keep track of eachother!!

Hi Kelly - guess you and I are in the same boat and just about the same timing too!  I'm five weeks and our first us is on the 17th - some symptoms, minimal - sore boobies - serious burping (although not totally abnormal for me - lol)  but no morning sickness and I'm trying to think positive that maybe I'm just going to be fortunate and have no ms

I am 5 weeks today without a darn symptom. I didn't have any w/dd whom is 9 months either! I still would like proof in an ultrasound in about 2 weeks just to see a heartbeat!

I am 12w6d pregnant. I have sore swollen bb's. Morning sickness has pretty much subsided. It was bad @6weeks. Fatigue is still lingering on.  I have horrible indigestion too. Other than that nothing too serious. Just looking forward to the 2nd trimester!

Hi,
I'm 8w5d pg and here are some of the symptoms I've had:

Urinating A LOT!
Quick sharp pains (spasm like) in lower abd.
Close to fainting a couple of times with some nausea (no vomitting)
Loss of Appetite and getting full quickly
Sense of smell has increased
Constipation
Very tired
No food cravings, just certain things that I don't want to eat

Overall, I feel pretty good, can't really say that I've experienced m/s either.
I know quite a few people that never had m/s, and I know it's hard not to worry, but I read the same thing tina read in "what to expect...." and everyone has different experiences to pg.

Also, m/s supposedly is related to hormone levels and blood sugar, and maybe some other things, anyway, I don't know if you have seen the wide range of HCG levels, but there is a big variance of normal values, so maybe yours is in the low normal range, causing you to have less symptoms.  Also, if your not eating a lot of sugar, then you probably won't have a big sugar drop.

Just wanted to throw a few things out there to hopefully ease your mind!
Try not to worry and best of luck!!
:)

Tina - thanks for the kind words - I'm hoping that I am just going to be fortunate and get to rub this in my sister's face because they both had horrible morning sickness - lol - our first time earlier this year, we had no morning sickness and lost our baby - so hard not to worry - although would be nice to be normal for a change - giggle

also thought it was interesting that a symptom can be getting full really fast when eating - I've been experiencing the same thing and didn't make much sense to me - I'd never heard anyone mention that before - curious how many of you have experienced that one?  Is that fairly common?

I am 16w1d prego.  Not 35 but would really like to stay and visit with you ladies.  It is somewhat uncomfortable posting my updates on the infertility/fertility forum.  I just don't want anyone feeling out of place....

Hope it's ok to stay and chat with you ladies???

Hi Sheila,

I'm here too.  I got my bfp a couple of weeks ago... so far my symptoms are over powering but here they are:

heartburn (first symp)
sore/enlarged bbs
nausea off and on throughout the day but not real strong
when I eat I get full fast
physically I feel pretty good but at the end of the evening, I hit a brick wall.  And it has been really easy to fall asleep and I sleep really hard
I did have some mornings were I was waking 2-3 hours early
Up until about 16-18, dpo I had an dull ache on my side that I ovulated from

All in all it has been GREAT!!

There are lots who don't get m/s. Count your blessings. I wish I was one of them. Not complaining though. I'd rather feel this way than still be ttc. I read in "What to Expect When You're Expecting" about 50% of women don't get m/s. Wow, that's a lot higher than I though. See? Normal.

Like Sheila said, it worked for us. Hopefully, it does for you, too. I did 2 rounds, one on 50mg & second on 100mg. The second one was it. Shelia and I used it only as a "boost", too. We both o on our own. The best of luck to you!

I just found out Sat I'm pg. Only 4wks. I've still got a long way to go b4 I find out. I don't care either way, just heathly and full term is all I pray for this time. Last one I lost at 12wks from the placenta lifting. I would love a girl as all there are in my family are boys. But, another boy is just as welcome :)

I am 12 weeks preg.  I have not had any morning sickness.  In fact, I feel best in the mornings!  My BB's have been tender on and off but nothing major.  I was tired but now that has faded too.  My worst symptom was some indigestion which is also going away.  The peeing at night just started for me a week or so ago.  The HB is still strong so I am not worried at this point.  Overall I feel most of my symptoms were very mild.  Try not to be too worried about your symptoms.  My sister has 3 kids and each pregnancy was different but she never had morning sickness either!!  I know how you feel though - I was praying for morning sickness the first few weeks but it really isn't a good indicator of how things are going.  Some people are just more sensitive to the rise in hormones and some are not.  Good luck!

Won't somone please post something telling how they had an amazing pregnancy with very few symptoms and no morning sickness.  So far, just boob tenderness, tired all the time, and some increase in peeing.  Worries me that there isn't more.

shesherm - I hear you about having to pee!!  I get up AT  LEAST two or three times every single night to go!  I feel like my bladder shrunk to the size of a dime!!  And our upstairs toilet was out of commission for two days so I'd have to walk all the way downstairs in the middle of the night in my sleep coma!!  It's fixed now so tonight I can pee all I want!!  LOL
Kindergal - I also got pregnant on my first assisted cycle but I used femara and not clomid (they are similar).  Good luck - it CAN happen!!

Hi everyone,
I am 8w4d pg via IVF, we started with twins, but as of last week, we lost one of them.  We have been through a roller coaster of emotions.  I haven't been very sick, except during loss of the one sac.  During that time, loss of appetite, nausea, lower gi stuff, and just plain miserable with severe abdominal cramps.  I am just now starting to feel a little better, and am getting over the emotional pain of losing one, and moving forward with the excitement of the continuing progress of the healthy sac.

Congrats to all of you who are pg and good luck to those still TTC.

I love the bionic smell comment!

When I was pregnant, I remember going to the grocery store, and smelling each and every smell of every food item in the store the instant I walked in, from the coffee to the bananas.  I have never been so sick in my life.
