first trimester pregnancy concerns

I am 38 yrs old and recently found out I am pregnant.  I go tomorrow to my first official visit with a Preinatal Specialist, due to being labled high-risk.  Over the last week, I have had an increase in discharge and today, it had a brownish-yellow tint to it.  I do not remeber this from my first pregnancy 4 yrs ago.  I did end up having a healthy baby girl on that pregnancy.  I am just a little nervous since I have not had my official visit.  If anyone could let me know if they have had these symptoms, I would greatly appreciate it.

I'm sorry, the first trimester really stinks as far as worrying goes.  Thankfully, I'm in my final week this time.  Your going to have a lot of discharge just because of increased estrogen and increased blood flow in the vagina and cervix.  Brownish-yellow sounds fairly normal.  Don't be surprised if you have a little pink tinged discharge after having sex or a bowel movement either (sorry if TMI).

Congragulations on your pregnancy and I hope you make it through your first trimester with your sanity!
