genetic testing for him

my husband is at the doctor right now having his genetics test done because I have tested positive for a abnormality. we have to make sure he doesn't have the same recessive gene. I need lots of positive energy right nowI need lots of positive energy right now for my baby. Praying he's not a carrier too.

He's ok. He just cannot have children with they same issue or that child will have a lot of symptoms like sickle cell

No I did not know he had this until after he was born. They found out with the newborn blood work.

Not 495 - 95 abnormalities

ihad maternal 21 but I also did a different test that tested 495 other chromosomal abnormalities. The test came back that I'm a carrier for the Dfnb1 gene mild to severe Loss of hearing and deafness. he did the genetics test on Tuesday and we're waiting on the results.
how old is your son and did you know he was going to have the issue prior to birth?

What's the issue may I ask? My son has something called hemoglobin c which I have never heard of before and plan on mentioning it to my obgyn next visit to get tested myself. Good luck to you and your family.
