Simple vaginal/anal swab. Just basically on outside areas. Nothing painful. Quite easy.

I just had that test done, today. It was nothing to be concerned about. Swab felt kinda scratchy. He swabbed in my vagina and a little on the outside. No big deal.

Just so you know, do NOT research this on the Internet if you test positive. You will be left horrified. I tested positive with my previous 2 and am assuming I will this time as well. The first time I researched and was so terrified but it's not nearly as horrible as it sounds. Once your water breaks you just need antibiotics. With my first, my water broke at home and they just gave me an Iv right away.... it's a lot more common than I thought and not nearly as scary...
