has anyone had a good outcome in similar situation???

LMP march 14,
Did hpt April 14 (positive)
Started spotting from April 20 to even now still
went to emerg on the April 21, lots of stretching and pulling feelings in abdoman and lower back pain and ultra sound suspected a tubal although inconclusive at this point bacause it may be too early for that and HCG levels are apparently low, 756 <----is that low???
April 24 (3 days later) got another hcg test, went up 200 (im approx 4 weeks - dpo)
have to get these tests done till my hcg level reaches at least 1500 so i can get another ultrasound

Are these levels really low? or are they normal?
i feel little to no pain, except annoying lower back pain
could this really be affect HCG levels?

I don't know for sure, but I don't think so.  I think it just continues to grow in the tube, and shouldn't affect the uterus.  But I honestly don't know for sure.  If you really think this might be ectopic though, i wouldn't mess around.  Make them keep checking, or get another opinion.

Good luck to you, I hpe everything turns out ok.

thanx adgal...i hope that you also have some success with your numbers....its pretty scarey hearing HCG is low and spotting with that. I know i have been on edge like never before, i have 3 kids already and never had anything like this. Tomorrow i get my HCG results from todays test so i feel like im freaking inside. Good luck to you also!

Well, spotting is certainly not uncommon.  Lots of women do through their entire first trimester, and even beyond.  Its good you had it checked though.

As for your HCG levels, everyone is different.  Usually though, a tubal pregnancy will produce really high levels (at least I think thats the way it works.). I do know that they look for your HCG to go up by at least 60% every 48 hours or so.  I just had my HCG done today for the first time, and its only 70 at 12-13 DPO, so I wouldn't worry about what your number is.  Just look for them to keep increasing.

Good luck to you, and keep us posted.
