Well, spottingVaginal bleeding between periods is certainly not uncommon. Lots of women do through their entire first trimester, and even beyond. Its good you had it checked though.
As for your HCG levels, everyone is different. Usually though, a tubal pregnancy will produce really high levels (at least I think thats the way it works.). I do know that they look for your HCG to go up by at least 60% every 48 hours or so. I just had my HCG done today for the first time, and its only 70 at 12-13 DPO, so I wouldn't worry about what your number is. Just look for them to keep increasing.
thanx adgal...i hope that you also have some success with your numbers....its pretty scarey hearing HCG is low and spotting with that. I know i have been on edge like never before, i have 3 kids already and never had anything like this. Tomorrow i get my HCG results from todays test so i feel like im freaking inside. Good luck to you also!
I don't know for sure, but I don't think so. I think it just continues to grow in the tube, and shouldn't affect the uterus. But I honestly don't know for sure. If you really think this might be ectopic though, i wouldn't mess around. Make them keep checking, or get another opinion.
got HCG results today, 1423, still spotting (painlessly) and approx 6 weeks and 3 days from LMP...not to mention, i have grown 7 inches around the waist and still confused about this ectopic pregnancy...back for more blood work thurs then another ultrasound appt next week...by the way, let me know how ur results go adgal, im wishing the very best for you!
