hospital gowns~

Any advice or recommendations for inexpensive but nice quality and decent looking hospital gown? My hospitals are SUPER ugly. Nastly grey with blue like trim and different colored triangles lol. Seriously. Everyone says I'm being a spoiled brat but I hate the way they feel on my skin and would like something at least a little bit pretty. I'm thinking of maybe just buying a medium length night gown since I don't plan on having an epidural. Anyone else not feeling the stardard gown?

Lol, yes the hospital where I deliver also has the ugliest gowns. I bring lose fitting halter tops, so that I can easily breastfeed. I also bring extra lose shirts, sweat pants and jogging pants. I refuse to use any night gown!! Other then when I am on the operating table, as soon as I am given permission to get up and moving, I change!!!

I'm on baby #4 and I hate hospital gowns too. With my last I wore a sports bra and just covered the rest with a sheet because I was in and out of birthing tub. I hate hospital gowns too they are too uncomfortable

Is this your first time?

Not trying to dissuade you, but honestly by the time I was ready to deliver, i was ripping EVERYTHING off and I could have cared less how I look.   And I was in a full face of makeup ready to be cute for first pictures...  lol.  Just from my experience, if you absolutely can't stand them then get a cheap robe from Target you could care less about because if you are delivering naturally, there are a whole assortment of bodily fluids that get everywhere and stain.   Be prepared to pretty much toss it after delivery.   I spent the money on comfortable and cute pjs and robe for AFTER delivery hospital stay.   Just my 2 cents from past experience :)

I saw those on birth without fears website actually. Seems expensive though and kind of elaborate with all Thr openings and ties. Maybe they have different styles though. I'll check again ;)
