hurting so bad. please help me.

I had my baby 4 days ago. I had to have a c section & since I was hurting so bad, I couldnt breast feed. My baby weighed 9 pounds, I couldnt put a 9 pound baby on my c sectioned stomach, so I bottle fed instead. Now my boobs are swollen, hard as a rock & heavy. Too sore & tender to touch. Ive held ice packs on them all day, even took a nap with ice packs on & my boobs leak VERY little. Im in soo much pain, idk what to do. Any ideas to make it stop & how long does it last?

Pumping will for sure relieve it but if you pump too often your milk will keep coming in. Which you could pump and when you are healed breastfeed or just pump. Up to you! Feel better!

When I couldnt pump anymore (I didn't produce enough and gave up) I cut down how often I pumped. Because it hurt so bad I couldnt just stop. Maybe try rubbing them?  Wjen one got so hard and sore I would rub them (it hurt at first but it did help me) as for csection I would walk around the house so I wouldnt get stiff. In and out of bed was the worst for me. I felt better after 2-2 1/2 weeks.

I wrapped my breast in ace bandages after my first daughter. I didn't breastfeed at all.

I never had a c section but I have had my breast get hard and it hurts like crap. Whatever you do you have to pump out your milk everyday even if your not feeding baby cause its not good for u. I
remember one time my baby couldnt breastfeed foe an hour and my breast hurt soo bad, (Tmi) but I had my hubby help me take the milk out it was the only thing that took the pain away it felt so good my breast was killong me. Also his mom when she stop breasfeeding for some reason she didnt pump out the old milk later in life she still had a bump amd it was from breasfeeding she had to have surgery.
