im 6 weeks pregnant with spotting.

Went to the Dr. Today due to some spotting. Dr. Did an ultrasound and said there was no visual of the baby. The checked my blood levels and they are at 2739 compared to 277 from last week. Should I be concerned? I even spoke to a case manager discussing with me about miscarriages. Please help. This is my 4th pregnancy. But fist time with this issue. Thanks.

I'm going to my regular Dr tomorrow at Kaiser, getting another ultrasound I'm so nervous. Also, I don't know how they are going to react about going to another Dr getting progesterone. I hope they also want me to continue with that. Miraculously, the cramping is at its minimal and no bleeding! Praise God. Thanks for all the well wishes and support. I'll keep everyone posted

Same thing happened to me at 6 weeks, I was spotting for a few days, the ultrasound showed the baby was perfectly fine and there was a chunk of blood far from the baby that was causing the spotting, I'm almost 12 weeks now, no more spotting, it's all good.

I actually had spotting as well and they told me my progesterone was very low and was at risk for a miscarriage.  I began taking nigtly progesterone injections till I was 10 weeks. As soon as I took the injections,  the spotting stopped.  I'm 14 wks now,  and the baby is growing on target now :) glad you got 2nd opinion.

Hi everyone, thank you for your concern. I went to another Dr. Who I know from volunteer work that I did. He agreed to see me on Sun. as I was having bad cramping, back pain, and still some spotting. He said the baby isn't developing at normal pace and hoping I was wrong with my dates. He actually have me progesterone via vagina and prescribed it to me. Miraculously the symptoms decreased significantly. I did research and women miscarriage sometimes because of low levels of progesterone. So I go to my regular Dr on Friday for an ultra sound. I'm praying all is well.

Calm down.  Try to pray amd meditate. Worrying doesn't help but can affect the baby

How are you? I worry about this alot since I had a miscarriage over a year ago. No one sat down and counseled me. They just kept drawing blood levels til tge numbers were nil. I wished I had someone to explain why but there is no answers. I worry about this one im 8wks now and I worry that when the date comes and its tiMe for my period I may lose the baby. The 24th is coming soon and my anxiety is kicking up.

I would recommend taking it easy and possibly just resting in bed if possible for a few dats to see if the bleeding stop.

Thank you for your response. She explained to me the reasons and process of a miscarriage should it happen to me. She was vague and neither her or the Dr could confirm.I've been having bad cramps, but no bleeding. I'm terrified being in limbo. Am I suppose to sit around until it happens.

Bleeding during pregnancy is not considered normal - realistically, there is a 50% chance that everything will work.

What did the caseworker say?  I'm sorry you are going through this unknown.  Right not its a waiting game.
