They are only babies for a short time if you want to hold your baby do it, don't listen to anyone, you can never spoil a baby. It's the same as sleeping in the same bed that they won't go into a cot.I have Co sleeper with mine and never had a problem and same with holding the baby all day

Hold her & do skin to skin.  It's good for both of you.  My 19 month old is affectionate and well adjusted & we never limited holding him.  We didn't rock him to sleep though--he's always been a good sleeper & didn't need it.

Hold that baby as much as you want!  Babies literally NEED physical contact to develop and be healthy. Studies show that babies who are held a lot actually grow up to be better adjusted. You can't spoil a baby!

Omg hold her as much as she wants! Won't be long before she's pushing away and asserting her independence. As the mother of 3 teens and one on the way it goes by way too fast!

My 12 month old will not let me put him down. I always have to be within arms reach of him. I constantly held him as a baby. However he was a sick baby so all I could do was hold him to comfort. I am paying for it now. The only time I can get anything done is when he is sleeping.

I am having baby #4, and I held my children all the time. They were not spoiled and actually very happy and quiet babies. Despite what people say, holding your baby creates a sense of security for them. People forget that a baby only knows constant movement and warmth we have provided them for almost 10 months. When you don't hold your Lil one your doing more damage then good.hold and snuggle away.

Feel fine about holding your little one! You absolutely can't spoil a baby! I responded in the other forum too with a better explanation,  but hold her as much as possible. It creates security and trust.

I have NEVER believed that. I have 2 kids Q nd am pregnant again. I heald both of my babies as much as possible,  sleeping or not, and so did my husband,  mother, & company when they came. I have NEVER had an issue of "not being able to put them down" because they're used to being held. As a 10 day old baby, she should be feeling yours, or anyone else's close touch. She was warm and "held tight" in the womb, it could be comforting for her. I could never see how holding your baby could be wrong. She's a miracle, embrace her every chance you get. Maybe some children need that "hold me all the time" feeling,  but I truly believe it's part of their personality. NOT all children developed that. Enjoy her ♡
