Im 39 weeks pregnant and lost my mucus plug a few hours ago.
No contractions but having a lot of pressure in my belly and vagina.
How long did it take any mommies out there to go in to labor after losing mucus plug? Im so anxious

Seems about 2 days for me, actually. I had a baby girl yesterday.

I think it was less than a few days after i lost mine that labor started, but everyone's different. Sounds like you may be have some early contractions.

If you are feeling pressure, you may be having early contractions. If it comes and goes, time them. Drink lots of water. Make sure you get a good caloric intake today to help get you through labor. It sounds like it is very close. Try to relax. Do some walking and prepare for delivery.

Sometimes it takes a while. It can actually take 4 weeks something, but since you're so close you probably won't have to wait that long. Just be patient.
