Zantac didn't work with my first pregnancy so my doctor prescribed protonix. This time around Zantac is working so far. I also try not to eat at least 2 hours before bed and sleep on 3 pillows. With my first pregnancy I put books under the legs if the head of my bed it got so bad. Good luck!

Mine was too! I was eating at least 8 tums a day until my doctor suggested at my 28 week check up that I take Prilosec until the end of my pregnancy. I was worried at first because I didn't want to take anything that would harm my baby, but she reassured me that Prilosec & Zantac are safe during pregnancy. Zantac will help fight symptoms after the fact for up to 12 hours & Prilosec will stop symptoms before they start all day.
The 1st day I took Prilosec, all my symptoms stopped & I haven't had indigestion or reflux since and it's been wonderful! I suggest asking your doctor & maybe giving it a try & see if it helps you. Good luck! I hope you find relief.
