Bleeding can happen and all be well. As Nicole said, its important to have your HCG levels tested 2 days apart to make sure they are increasing and not decreasing. Everyone always says they need to double, my OB says they actually look for an increase of 65%. I am not sure if others have been told that or not. The clots may be other things as well, although I would think right now its important for you to be monitored. What did your Dr. say? Are you going back in soon? I can tell you that if you are in fact m/c, and you start to fill more than one pad an hour, seek medical attention right away. Other than that, its scary and horrible I know, but all you can do is wait and see. I wish you all the best, and I really hope and pray all turns out well for you and your baby. Please let us know how you are doing.
thanks fro commenting uh i actually havent been back to the doctor since friday they told me to wait until monday and have my hcg levels checked again im still passing blood clots they are smaller than friday but im still confused if my hcg level drops any that means i miscarried or do they drop sometimes and if they rise that means im fine right this is all confusing to me i actually have one child so you would think id know but i dont
Well, usually if HCG levels drop, it means a loss. I haven't heard of too many women that have dropped then had the pregnancy be ok. But I am definately no Dr., and I certainly could be wrong. That is just my understanding of it. They will level off evenutally, but not until a bit later on in your pregnancy. I hope all goes well for you monday, take good care.
I know bleeding can be a huge scare in pregnancy. Trust me, I know I have had severe bleeding three times so far in my pregnancy. I had some much bleeding the last time, I could have sworn the placenta had came out. I had clots the size of the palm of my hand, it was very very scarey. When I went to L&D and they told me to get undressed and they will see what is going on I told them I wasn't getting undressed first I just wanted to know first if my baby was okay and to do an ultrasound right away. The baby was just as happy as could be and moving all around on the screen. Come to find out I have a cervical polpy that is causing my bleeding. Don't jump the gun too fast. Have your HCG level checked again and if they are doubling you should be fine. Your doctor should also do an ultrasound with the bleeding you have been having.
you all are so helpful i go to the doctor at 2 ill let yall know how it goes thanks so much for the help and advice it really helps me to calm down and not worry so much but thanks again ill let yall know as soon as i find out
I bled quite a bit and thought for sure I had a miscarriage right around the time my period was due. It apparently was just implantation bleeding and all is well! Baby is big and healthy!
How far along are you? If you're really early (right around the time your period is due or just after) your HCG levels might indicate twins. Mine was around that level the first time and I was pregnant with twins. :P
