just wondering

by tracie1319, Jan 18, 2008 04:12PM
I am sorry did not know which forum to go under for this question. For the last 6months my period as been every 28 to 30 days long and just this last month i was 36 days out till i started my period again. Normally when i do the calcuation i put in 30 days, but since my period did not start exactly 30 days and it went to day 36, do I still calculate with 30 days or do i use 36 days? I started my period Jan 4, 2008 and I would have normally started Dec. 28th 2007. Please let me know..Thank you

Jan 4 would be day 1.  If your cycle is usually 28 to 30, I would use that to guesstimate when you next ovulation will be.  I would consider the 36 day cycle as a fluke, unless it becomes more common.

Good luck.
