Every one's labor is different. My advice is that you have to do what works for you. Go in open minded to what you think will help to manage pain. Keep in mind that thousands of women around the world give birth to babies EVERY DAY! Most do it with out drugs (but that's not for me). I've had 2 epidurals and will for #3 here due in November. When I am in pain (labor or kidney stones...) my body reacts by vomiting. Not to scare you- just being honest. No one told me that I might throw up when I was in labor!
Do what works for you! best of luck!
Everyone gets nervous. This will be my 4th baby, Im only 12 weeks and Im nervous already. Try to concentrate more on the excitement of the baby being here rather than the actual labor. Relaxation and meditation can help, or keep yourself busy so that you don't have time to think about it! During the actual labor, with every contraction I just think that Im that bit closer to meeting my baby and it's one contraction less that I have to have. You will be fine. Good luck xx
