missed period and still test negative

I have my monthly and this month I haven't. I have taken three test and all have turned out negative. I added it up I would be 6 weeks and 1 day if I am. My doctor told me to wait for two more weeks just incase. My question is could I be pregnant and still test negative at 4 to 6 weeks??

HA!! I was the exact same way....Im 18 wks pregnant now. :-) I went in and took a blood test after my hubby bugged me about it.

Thanks I Went to the doctor on the on the 24th and I am now 14 weeks pregnant.
