need help with day counting....

im not the best with dates...but here goes

dec 9 i miscarried at 6 weeks and 2 days
jan 6 first AF since miscarriage

how long was that cycle? shouldnt AF have come already?

now im wondering :/

sorry...my mc started dec 10 officially....

if i count i get 27 days...which means AF should have been here today....is that right?

I know that a miscarriage can throw off your cycle for a couple of months. But, given the information you've posted, I would say that you shouldn't count the time between the miscarriage and the AF in January as a normal cycle...so don't go by the 27 days. How long are your cycles, normally? If you normally have a 28-day cycle, then your period *should start tomorrow. But, again, your cycles could messed up for a bit. Did you temp or track ovulation in any way?

assuming your cycle is normally 28 days your AF is probably due on 2/3 or 2/4.  Your hormones do take a while to properly get back into sync and your cycle gets back to normal.   It doesn't matter when you M/C occured, the important date is when you got AF to determine your next AF.

I does sound reasonable that your AF was on 1/6 , however.

i didnt do anything...my cycles are typically 27 days

i was surprised that my first cycle after the mc was exactly 27 days...i always o'd early and had shorter cycles...and i dont have very long AF visits either

im stuck waiting it out right now...but i think AF should have been here today

If you are normally 27 day cycle and you have had first AF on Jan 6th, next one should start Feb. 3rd...I think...so tomorrow.  If my numbers are right, last day of cycle would have been today.  If nothing tomorrow, I would do a test...let me know Terry...I worry so much about you, you have been through so much.  Hugs to you hon.  Amanda
