no heartbeat at 6 weeks

I just saw my ob yesterday and had a ultrasound they could not detect a heartbeat just pulse movements I am concerned and doctor is concerned I had my first ultrasound at around 4 weeks my six week has shown that the baby us growing I have RH negative and Antibody C the doctor has scheduled another ultrasound at 8 weeks to which she said there must be a heartbeat or it would not be a normal pregnancy I'm scared I never had this trouble with my son who is now 5.  I still feel pregnant and my body still feels like it us pregnant is this normal please help!

It's really too early to look for a heartbeat.  If the doctor sees the sac and the baby appears to be growing according to dates,  most likely all is ok.  A lot of times,  even after 8 weeks, docs still can't find a heartbeat.  This is why I think getting prenatal care too early really isn't helpful.

I am considered high risk due to the two blood disorders and my age my ob said due to baby possibly becoming anemic resulting from antibodies attacking his/her blood and the problems I had my last pregnancy I have to be monitored early in pregnancy trying to keep positive but its hard when my doctor is not sure of a normal pregnancy

The RH factor is never an issue with first pregnancies.

I have read  of heartbeat not being detected at 6 weeks and being picked up later. Your doctor can deal with the blood disorders am sure. Age is not a big deal though but doctors r just hysterical  when pple are over 35. Many pple proceed to have normal kids.

I had this with my first son, u/s at 6 weeks and no heart beat. Back at 8 weeks and there he was beating away. I have miscarried 4 times and I felt the difference In my body. With Jacob like u said.I still felt pregnant, with the miscarriages I knew something was wrong. I have 2 boys one 5 n one 2 and I am currently 37+5 pregnant with my third a little girl. X
