placenta previa

I went to ER in my 20th week because suddenly my fibroids came to be big and hurt me.
I was told that there should be no problem. But the doctor wrote that I have also placenta previa without any explanation to me.
I was upset. I asked my doctor later about this, but he told me that it is too early to diagnose placenta previa, without u/s.
Then, my doctor recommended me to see other doctor who specialized in maternity medicine to check my fibroids just in case. She also even did not mention about placenta previa during u/s. I have so many questions to her about the fibroids and forgot to ask about placenta previa at that time.
I am now in hte 23rd week. I am so worried and feel bad about this.
I heard that placenta would move up after a few weeks in some cases.
How big or small  is the possibility?? How long does it take??
I am so scared of c-section..also, since my big fibroids is on the top of my womb, I do not know where to cut if c-section..
If you have any information about placenta previa, please give me some information!!!

Thanks.
I hope mine is not total placenta previa.
Since my doctor did not checked, I do not know what is going on.
80% is not bad...I will try to relax until next u/s.

80% of all placenta previas will move up by the third trimester! Good luck and try not to worry too much =) I had a low lying placenta at 18 weeks and at 29 weeks it had moved up.
