I was wondering how big is the mucus plug? I have been lossing mine for about a week now and ut seems like it never stops comming. Sometimes its quarter sized other times its as much as my toilet paper can hold. Im 37.5 weeks pregnant.

Im 2 cm dilated and 90% effaced. ive been having contractions but nothing to go to the hospital. my mucus plug looks like snot and has been blood tinged. It just seems like theres alot of it.

I doubt your losing your mucus plug, I bet it's just alot of discharge and maybe trapped sperm if your having sex. But I could be wrong. Mines increased also. But with my first one my mucus plug was about the size of a quarter and it reminded me of almost like an egg. It was a round blood ball looking thing surrounded by a big glob of snot. It fell out while walking around the hospital just hours before I gave birth. Kinda gross really, the nurse cleaned it up lol

I'm not even sure how to tell when you lose it. I'm 37 weeks today and have always had excessive discharge for the last two months about. I'm already dilated 2cm though so does that mean I've already lost it?

Idk how big it is really but I know it can replenish itself
