polypectomy recovery

A transvaginal ultrasound detected endometrial hyperplasia and endometrial polyps. My uterus is of normal size; the endometrium was 17 mm with well-defined multiple hyperechoic mass. My left ovary was 3.2x2.8cm and my right ovary 3.2x2.4cm. My doctor performed an outpatient polypectomy. An endometrial assessment (hysteroscopy and biopsy) was also conducted and the results were as follows: glandular hyperplasia with prolifaration and mild dysplasia of glandular epithelium. Fragments of glandular polyps of the endometrium with inflammation in the stroma are present. I am 37 years of age, and two months have passed since the polypectomy. I am currently on BCP and to date, all seems to be well (i.e. no infections). My question is: since the procedure (i.e. more than 2 months ago), I have not had my menstrual bleeding. What could be wrong? I wish to conceive but have been told to wait until 3-6 months before trying, but if I do not menstruate, will I risk not conceiving? Thanks
