Yes, my midwife told me that it's safe to use Monistat, and she tends to be extremely conservative with recommending any kind of medication. She also said that it's important to treat a yeast infection before giving birth or the baby could be born with thrush. I just went thru the 3-day treatment, it's yucky and no fun but it's over pretty quick. I never had a yeast infection before and I had no symptoms, but a culture showed I apparently had a mild one. I guess it can happen simply as a side effect of pregnancy...

yes you can take monistat when pregnent i used canesten cream all most every 2 to 3 weeks due to my pregnentcy

I have heard many women say that it is safe, and others say they were prescribed an oral med for a yeast infection.  I would contact your OB to know for sure.
