You're probably going to laugh at me, but my husband and I have not had sex since we concieved. I have had 4 prior miscarriages and then I ended up with 2 cervical poplys with this pregnancy that caused severe bleeding for 3 months, the last time I bleed I almost needed a blood transfusion because I lost sooo much blood. So my DH doesn't want to take any chances (poor guy) but he's more concerned of my health and having a healthy pregnancy then needing sex right now (he's a great guy anyways). So...that's my story!!!
Good luck with your pregnancy, sounds like things are moving in the right direction for you - Congrats!
MY dh knows when i get pregnant no sex for him.. its a given. he gets the fun precreating but is cut off with two lines.. itsa joke for us.. but i've lost 4 so i'm not about to chance anything. my dr says its safe. but not fo rme..
Congrats on your hcg rising! At a 7 week u/s you should be able to see a heartbeat. At 6 weeks you may or may not see much.
As for sex, we have not had any since I conceived (poor dh!!) but that's only because I was bleeding through my first trimester. Otherwise, sex is perfectly safe.
I am not only scared to have sex, I have no drive (progesterone). My dh has been so supportive. I just want to get past 12 weeks, I think then I will ease up a bit.
I think all of us worry a bit about sex during pregnancy. I know I did, and my DH even more. Its safe unless your Dr. tells you no. If you are spotting or cramping badly, they usually tell you to avoid it, at least they did me. Other then that, do what you are comfortable with. Keep in mind, your cervix is very soft right now, and it may cause a bit of spotting afterward. This is nothing to worry about!!
