slow heart beat

I was told last week my baby has a slow heartbeat at 6 weeks. I've had no spotting but some cramps. Still getting morning sickness. Am obviously very worried as all I'm reading is horror stories. Have another scan next Monday.

They didn't tell me what the heart rate was.  I feel so much better reading these comments. I've found it hard as we've not really told anyone yet so had no one to talk to. Feeling more positive now. Thanks X :-)

it's normal for the heart rate to be low at six weeks. the little heart just started. give it a couple weeks it'll pick right up:) I had the same concern at six weeks.

Heart rate at that age is slower than later on. Was it over 100 BPM?

At 6 weeks, my baby's heartbeat was the low end of normal at 121. I was nervous about it but now at 23w2d, he sits in the 150s without a problem. I will keep my fingera crossed for you that your bbay is jusy being a little stinker like mine.

6 weeks is still quite early and I know a few gals that didn't even get to hear it that time. Hope this is the case for you and baby continues to get stronger. Wish you the best
