spotting

Anyone experience any spotting during first trimester? I'm 37 and 8 weeks along. I've had some light brownish spotting and just wondering if it's normal. This is my third child.  I have 10 and 8 year old boys and didn't go through thus with them. Getting a little worried.

I had spotting with a few of my pregnancies. With oldest, they put me on bed rest for a few days. Eventually it went away. Other times it was a sign of miscarrying. Go see your ob to make sure.

Brown blood is old blood.  Drink a lot of water, then, drink more water.  Like 80 oz's a day.  It helps to keep your uterus hydrated.
Call your doctor though, and they will probably do an u/s.
I spotted/bled brow, red, heavy, light, from week 6 to 16 of my pregnancy almost every day.  It can be normal.  Try not to stress, and call your doctor.

Brownish blood is considered old blood your body had to get rid of. Completely normal, but if your worried you should call your doc.

I had light brown/ pinkish spotting around 6 weeks.  Turned out to be nothing and totally normal. So long as you are not cramping majorly... (a bit of cramping is normal also), and spotting doesn't become bright red , you are fine. But call doc to help ease your mind a bit if it doesn't subside. Congratulations and best wishes and baby dust!
