swollen fingers?

I am 25 weeks pregnant and had to take off my wedding and engagement rings because my knuckle is swollen and I was afraid that they would get stuck. Has this happened to anyone else? Do you know if they will go back to normal size after the baby is born? It feels so weird to not have the rings on my finger. I'm thinking of getting an inexpensive replacement band in the mean time.

I had tons of swelling with my dd!!!  I took off my rings in the late 2nd trimester too!  I had so much swelling I got carpal tunnel in both wrists at night and my feet ached by the end of the pregnancy.  It will go away after you deliver but it does take some time to get back to "normal" especially if you nurse.

So far I am ok there, it's my feet that are swollen!  I have thought the same thing though..maybe a fake band for when mine doesn't fit anymore.  I think many women wind up having to take off their rings.

I had to do the same thing with my last pregnancy and will soon remove mine this pregnancy as well.  My fingers also swelled. Yes, mine went right back down to the normal size after the baby was born.
