ultrasound guarantee?

can anyone tell me is the ultrasound 100 percent accurate regarding the gender of the baby??!!

my friends tell me its not, there are times they tell you, you are having a boy and you end up having a girl or vice versa...

Am I going to have to give away all the baby clothes I got?

I agree.  They are pretty accurate most of the time, but not 100%.  Best of luck!

This is true they are not 100% guaranteed. I think mostly because of the position of the baby. But rarely does this occur, in most cases if the dr/nurse cannot give u an accurate reading they will not just guess the sex of the baby.  9 times out of 10 your dr is right. Hope this helps, good luck and congratulations to you!!!

I have had a few ultrasounds and each time it has been the same, it confirmed that I am having a boy. I won't know if they are correct for sure until he is here. I am 32 weeks.
I think they are fairly accurate, but not 100%.  I do have a friend that was told she was having a boy and it ended up being a girl. But I don't think that happens very often.
