what does a contraction feel like?

For anybody who has already had baby's .. This is my first I just wish somone would give me all the nitty gritty details I want to know EVERYTHING start to finish on giving birth I want to here personal experiences and everything I'm all ears I'm VERY curious , I'm hoping to make it to a natural birth hopefully no medications are needed (:

Before labor you lose your mucus plug, its slimy and it might have a greenish yellow tint to it. Once you lose your plug, labor could start next day or within the week.

Sometimes it feels like you need to poop or fart. Yout tummy gets hard n u start to have cramps on ur lower back and tummy and it works its way down. Hope this helps. If not u will know when u get it. Btw real labor 2-3apart. Brackton hicks arent really painful u just feel the muscles contract.
