when did i conceive

Hi I started my last period on 31st december 2009.  I had unprotected sex the next day 1st Jan.  I had sex again on 8th Jan.  My cycle is 25 days regular.  But as from today 12 jan I'm feeling bloated with very tender breasts exactly how I felt last time I was pregnant.  If Iam pregnant which of the two dates would I have conceived on? Thanks

I agree with the others, it's unlikely you conceived during your period.  Even the 8th seems early, but I would say that is the most likely scenario. Congratulations and good luck!!

Hey there, Victoria01 is about right. It would be on the 8th. The following is from parenthood.com  They have an ovulation calculator that you enter lmp and how many days your cycle is. They are off by one day though. It says your next period would be the 25th, as did Victoria01 but if you count Dec.31st as day 1, then it would actually be the 24th. Hope this helps.

Your Most Likely Date of Ovulation is January 9, 2010
The following is a "best guess" overview of your approximate fertile cycle:
December 31, 2009You told us this was the 1st day of your last period
January 6, 2010This is the very beginning of your fertile period. Although your egg has not yet been released, it is possible that sperm could survive until your egg is released.
January 7, 2010It is now 2 days before ovulation; it is likely that you could conceive on this date.
January 8, 2010It is 1 day before ovulation. You are very fertile on this date.
January 9, 2010Ovulation. Based on the 1st day of your last period, this is the date that your egg is released. You are most fertile on this date.
January 10, 2010On the day after ovulation, conception is still very possible.
January 11, 20102 days after ovulation, your fertility is decreasing. The egg survives for about 24 hours, and, if not fertilized, it will disintegrate.
January 16, 2010If your egg was successfully fertilized, this is the approximate date when it implants itself in the uterus.
January 17, 2010A blood pregnancy test may be accurate now from this date forward.
January 19, 2010Some early pregnancy home tests may be accurate now – but be aware of the possibility of a false negative result.
January 23, 2010If you are NOT pregnant, this is the date you will probably get your next period. If you ARE pregnant, you can expect accurate results from a pregnancy test.
October 7, 2010This is your most likely due date if you became pregnant in this cycle

It does seem to be a bit early, but most woman don't conceive the day after they have their period. Ovulation usually occurs 14 days BEFORE your period, which would make sense if you conceived on the 8th. If you cycles are 25 days then you would be due for your period on the 25th, and 14 days before that would be the 11th and sperm can live in the body for up to 5 days, putting conception on the 8th.

Thanks for quick reply.  I'm desperate here.  Last time I was pregnant I didn't get these symptoms till 12 days after I conceived thats why Im so confused.  My stomach is dragging with slight period like pains and my breasts are so tender.  Thought if I conceived on the 8th it would be too early to feel like this.

By the dates you gave, if you are pregnant, you would have probably conceived on the 8th.
