6 day's late and I had a tubal ligation in 2006...

I just want to know if it's possible that I am pregnant? I have taken 3 tests since i missed my period on Sunday 10/18/09 (6 days ago)and all have been negative. My last period was 9/20/09 I ovulated 10/4/09...had intercoarse on 10/2, 10/3, 10/5, 10/8. My periods are every 28 days so regular almost down to the time of day I start on the 28th day. I got "dollartree" preg tests, they worked for my sister so I figured they would for me. I really want to be pregnant! I have been so sad and wish I would have waited to get my tubal surgery but I did it and now I am freaking out? I don't know if I should go get a blood pregnancy test or try a more expensive more sensitive one. Let me know what you think. Thanks! Oh BTW I am VERY fertile and have 5 children already so if anyone could get pregnant on birth control or after a tubal it would be me!

I am in the same situation.  I am late also but pregnancy tests are coming up negative.  I am just going to wait it out and see what happens.  One other time I didn't have a period for 65 days; ended up being a problem with my thyroid gland.
I'm interested to hear of any updates you have.

yeah  i did the same research when i  was late in  jun eof 08 i made myself nervous beyond belief with all the things i  read damn internet sometimes  can make people panic  over hte littlest things lol.   I wouls  just wait it out  the one thing i will say  in horrible sided  pain  ( like someone  stabbing u in the side) then i would go to the  er or  dr asap.  That was what they  told me to look out for before   they could get me in to  have u/s when i found out i was preggo with my lil Mckenna. i will keep my  fingers crossed for u  for whatever outcome u  wish to have  good luck

I want to be pregnant so bad and now i am 9 days late and have been feeling extra warm off and on and nausiated<----(spell).....Thanks for your comments I hope I am one of the lucky ones that actually get pregnant I think I will wait until I am 2 weeks late and then go to the hospital and get a blood test. I have been looking up pregnancy after TL all over the internet and have been kind of worried because I keep seeing things about a tubal pregnancy and if that is the case I would be so sad......Anyway i am going to keep looking for comments and keep everyone updated. CROSS YOUR FINGERS FOR ME PLEASE :) Thank you!! I'm excited I just don't want to get my hopes up to much!

Welcome!!!... to our community.  Yes it is possible you could be pregnant.  I couldn't get a clear positive on a pregnancy test until I was almost two weeks late.  Also, from my research, women who have had tubal ligation surgery done and thought they were pregnant were only able to get a positive throught having the blood pregnancy test done.  I would try a more expensive test and if it's negative, have the blood work done.  GOD BLESS.
