!!! root canals! !! or pulled teeth please ANSWER?!

Did any of u ladies have a root canal or pulled a teeth while being prego.
Did it hurt??
Did u feel the root canal
Or them pulling ur tooth out???
Im nervous because the dentist said I need 3root canals and one tooth pulled
And I know thwy cant use good numbing stuff because of the pregnancy.
How long did it take what happend Tony ladies during before and after???!!

I had a root canal and was completely numb, they can get the ones that contain a certain drug, but I'm drawing a blank on what it was, however, the other medication is just as effective. Don't be scared, if you are like me, you need a large dose of lidocaine, because the regular dose isn't enough,if you feel ANYTHING, have the doc give you another injection or more. He/she won't start until you are completely num

I had a wisdom tooth out last week (at 20 weeks). They used lignocaine, I didn't feel anything except an odd tugging sensation. After the anesthetic wore off I had pain around the site for about 48 hours. I took codeine at bedtime the first night to help with the pain, but it was bearable from the morning after onwards. Word to the wise: follow the afyercare instructions to the letter, it would be horrible to wind up with infection or worse abcess or dry socket. Good luck, I hope you have a good experience.

I had 1 root canal while pregnant.  I got normal numbing meds.  You just can't have certain ones in certain weeks of pregnancy.  But I'm sure the well schedule around that.   It wasn't overly bad
