12 Week Scan - So far so good

So I had my 12 week scan today.  Baby measured 12 weeks exactly (1 week ahead based on LMP, and 3 days ahead based on known ovulation).  Length was 5.33 cm and heart rate of 155 bpm.  Nuchal fold was .1 cm.

I am finally beginning to beleive (after 18 months of trying to get pregnant and losses) that this baby is strong and healthy and will make it.

I am beginning to get excited.  And I am going to enjoy this pregnancy (just as soon as this blasted all day morning sickness decides to take it's leave)!.

Sticky baby dust to everyone.

Saw my obe yesterday.  She was excited that we've gotten this far after so many losses

Told me she admired me for keeping on trying, as she said many women would have given up before the 6th IUI which is when we got this sticky one!

I told her I couldn't give up, and was actually encouraged by the fact that I could get pregnant.  I was convinced that I just needed to get that right egg and it would be a go!  Of course the initial progesterone support probably also helped!  This cycle was the first time we did that.
