165 Heart bit rate. Is it boy or girl?

Hi,
Today I had first ultrasound and doctor’s appointment. Also I am 12 weeks today. My baby was very active and heart bit rate was 165. Do you have idea about that? It’s going to be a girl? I heard girl’s heart bit rate always faster than boy. Any comments would be much appreciated.

Well to be honest it doesn't mean a darn thing  I'm having a boy and a girl and their heart rates were 165 and 168.....so either way

Both my children were above 160 and as high as 172 all the time. I have to healthy boys. We also miscarried at 11 weeks but I can't remember the heartrate for that pregnancy. Now I'm pregnant with #4 and the heartrate was 162 at 7w5d.

agreed, my daughter who is going to be 18 was a secret.  the drs said by the hb it is going to be a boy though.  thank god we didnt buy all blue stuff, she def is all girl.  :)

yep..just a tale no truth to it ! my lil guy was 168 at 7 weeks and is a boy!.....it would be nice it it true to give us some idea but its not

it is wrong so much.... everything you do will be 50/50 might as well just flip a coin...  mine was always under 140 and it is a girl

i used to think the heart rates would help too...but i learned through my last preg that they are wrong...if fact everything that tried to help predict the gender was wrong

i know when im able to get preg again i wont be finding out the gender...it truly be a blessing and surprise

try to stay patient and wait for your u/s to let you know the sex of the baby

Old wives tale with some documented accuracy 140 below is a boy 160 and above girl and who knows if its in between.

It was right with both of my kids...son was 135 and girl was 165.

Hi Sue.. Congrats on the first ultrasound! And for making it to the second trimester! YAY!!

You know. I used to believe that myth too because my daughters (18 years ago) was 160 + and my sons was always -150. Well.. Brayden's heartrate started out at 168 and has been up and down since. It has nothing to do with the sex.
