41 and pregnancy questions

Hi all, I am 41, and feel stupid after two children (20,13) asking about a pregnancy.  But here goes, as in some of the other post, I don't know how much is wishful thinking and how much I am in denial hoping it's YES I'm pregnant.  It's really driving me crazy this waiting.  My LMP was on 6 August 07, no b.c, was/am expecting my period on or about 31 Aug due to cycle for the last month being 25-26 days.  BTW my cycles are never normal.  Anyway it's now Sep 3 and these are some symptoms:  I started spotting brownish discharge today, as well as have been feeling quite nauseas for over a wk (don't really remember when the nausea started), I've also been getting low grade headeaches, had some minor cramping prior to the spotting started, but not so much now.  I tend to feel like **** during the day nauseas and headache, then in the early evening the nausea subsides, low grade headache still persist faintly.  What does everyone think?  Am I or am I not, should I test, if so when.

Congrats!!!! Have no fears. My grandmother had her last child at 47. He was healthy. You'll be fine.

I'm having the same problem here. My period is very regular 28 days. Last month it came 3 days late. For the month of August I since of smell was very high not to mention that all my cloths are tight however, when I got on the scale it stated that I lost 5lbs. I wake up sleepy and certain food make me sick. I been having cramps like my cycle was going to start but never came. Just yesterday I had a brown discharge (old blood) when I went to the restroom but that was it. Early this morning I started to feel adomin pain (cramping). Its brown/pinkish period but it seem to have gone away. Could I be pregnant?  I took a test last week and it came back neg. We also had a m/c last year. You help and taught would be great. Thanks

You're never going to know unless you test. You're late, so if you are pregnant, it should show by now.
