Thanks alot , I have been to regular OB, had three m/cs, he refer me to an RE while
Seeing the RE had one m/c she did a dnc to remove fibroids I got preg. Again and at 9 wks there was no heart beat, baby was formed it's from this fetus that they did the test and found the antibody M higher than normal. She now wanted me to consider IVF which I am ready financialy. I am at another infertility specialist now, he call me this morn. That I should go to the ER to rule out eptopic. I don't think I should go because I already pass some clots. And I am not having any pain.
I am so very sorry about your losses. Is your Dr an RE? Were you on any protocol for this last pregnancy? Immunological issues are new and a controversial area for some doctors, but I do wonder whether your antibody M was a contributing factor.
I can get pregnant easily but I've lost them all.
I had one pregnancy loss 4 years ago, and with my new husband, I've had 4 losses. The first was a blighted ovum, the next two were chemical. I went to an RE and underwent all the tests. My RE found that I had antibodies; my ICGs and protein C were not in the normal range. For my 5th, and most recent pregnancy, my RE prescribed daily baby aspirin, progesterone and fragmin injections (blood thinning medication similar to heparin.) This time around, the baby was formed but there was no heartbeat or growth from 6 1/2 weeks to 7 1/2 weeks, so I had a D&C in September.
At my age, I expect a 50% chance of miscarriage. I am going to try one more time using the same protocol, while also looking at other options.
Please do not give up hope. Please do some research into this antibody M, and ask your doctor - or another RE - about immunological issues. My own RE admitted that this is a new area not fully understood by all in his profession.
you guys are the best!! i coould not have found a better supportive site. i was si frustrated and then i decided to seach the net i was very overwhelmed with the responses i have gotten.
i will certainly put these advice into perspective and start my regime soon my hcg becomes negtive.

thanks much i am very torment at this i wish that i could just put my hands on the problem and throw it to hell.
i am going through this and soon started testing again for the cause. so i will gather all of the infos. and take it to my dr. next week
thanks and blessings to all you wonderful ladies.
I had 5 m/c in a row as well, 3 were chemical pregnancies. All a chemical pregnancy is is a very early miscarriage. If all of your miscarriages were first trimester, chances are there was a chromosonal issue. Testing did not turn up anything for me either. My husband was also tested for genetic compatability to me and all was fine. There was no explanation except for the fact that I was almost 38 when I first got pregnant, so older eggs. I was put on progesterone supplements, baby asprin, fish oil, and prenatal vitamins (high in folic acid). I conceived again in April of this year and am now almost 26 weeks with a healthy baby boy. I am so sorry for what you have been through, I know how much it hurts. I hope all works out for you and I wish you well.
so sorry to hear about all of your losses.... i wish there were some words that could make it better! We had 4 mc's in a row after many fertility treatments.. 2 were chemical, and 1 i just bleed from the beginning and lost it around 7 weeks, the other was a missed miscarriage, where i ended up having a fully developed placenta until almost 11 weeks before any bleeding or the actual miscarriage began. We finally got pregnant with a "sticky" one the 5th time - only after starting asprin, B vitamins and 5mg of folic acid a day.. they did find that i have a clotting disorder (homozygous MTHFR).. and now i'm also on heparin injections since the start of this pregnancy.... Have you tried asprin or heparin? I have a friend who tested negative for clotting disorders as well, but her dr put her on heparin and asprin and she has also now having success after 4 mc's.. I think its worth a try if not yet tried... Good luck with everything, your in my thoughts and prayers!! i have heard of people that have immune/antibody issues.. and they either do blood thinners or immune globulin treatments of some sort and have success! :)
i did read a statistic one time in a magazine when i was at the RE's office- it said if you have gotten pregnant once (and lost it) that you have a 98% chance of a healthy full term pregnancy in the future- that statistic got me through some very tough times, kept my hope up! Good luck! : )
