8 weeks spotting with twins??

I am 8 weeks pregnant with twins after ivf and the past 2 weeks i have had some light bleeding and spotting ive had 2 emergency ultrasounds and the babies are fine strong heartbeats they havnt gave me a reason for the spotting.

Also,  over been told several times that 25% of women bleed during their first trimester.  Just try and relax and enjoy the miracle!

I spotted/bled from week 6 to 16 of my twin pregnancy.  Pretty much every day.  Red, vpbrown, heavy, light.  You name it.  Please drink 80 oz's of water a day or more.   It helps to keep your uterus hydrated.  
Oh, and bow...my twins are 3 1/2 yrs old.  
Your uterus is expanding rapidly to accommodate 2 growing babies.   Try and enjoy being pregnant.  I know its hard not to worry

A clot between the cervix and uterus can cause bleeding its spontious hemorraging its normal I miscarried back in april but Im 15 weeks now and had bleedding at 12 weeks.

Congratulations! I'm 39 and 6.5 weeks and just found out I have twins. We didn't do any fertility treatments. We are shocked and happy. I've been spotting on and off. I thought I was miscarrying. My OB told me to call if I'm filling a maxi pad which I haven't.

I'm not having twins but with my last baby i spotted very badly around at the beginning and 5 and 6 months along. I was exhausted and needed more rest and eating small portions every few hours. Rest is the key if you're spotting! I put myself on a half bed rest schedule and I delivered him at 39 weeks at 7.11lb. He scared me a few times at the emergency room because contractions started coming too but really rest and eating right were the key for me. I'm at 11 weeks now with my 3rd one ... i had a miscarriage a few months ago at 5 or 6 weeks but this one looks like is staying and growing strong ;) My doc always tells me small spotting is ok but bleeding is not. After sex can happen too so just be cautious of that ...

Check up on ur blood type. I did the same. Only to find out my blood type is - which tries to fight babies off like a foreign object and can cause miscarriage. It is a easy fix with a rohgam shot. Just haven a catch it in time

I'm 8wks 3days and have been spotting as well the last three. Saw a healthy heartbeat (just one, don't think twins :) ) yesterday and was told it's all normal, which makes it easier to relax. I agree, it's hard to relax and stay calm when you don't know why you're spotting.

I bled at 6 to about 15 weeks they said I had a hemorrhagic cyst.... There's nothing they can do I'm currently 31 +2  with identical twin girls. Try not to stress out (I know it's hard) but it help you out in the long run Good luck!!!! Hope to hear many updates good luck!!!!!

Thank you for your reply i feel better knowing im not the only one this has happened too i know with twins its a whole new ball game so i need to relax i never experienced any of this when i was pregnant with my son.
