Tribulus should be taken pre- ovulation, cd 5-14 or so depending on when you ovulate. Vitex can be taken all cycle or pre-ovulation, you can decide. See my journal for fertility recipe that include vitex. I take the liquid instead of the capsules, either is fine.
I was taking a prenatal, but now I am skipping it since fertilaid has folic acid in it. You have a great plan.
Sending you baby dust too!

I got the Vitex & the tribulus today.. Started the Vitex... gonna wait on the Tribulus not sureif i should take them together?? need to contact someone... before doing that..
Have been on a prenatal dose of a multi-vitamin for 3 months now... and supplement with 1200mg of folic acid and omega 3 oil caps 3xs daily... this has helped to get rid of about 10 lbs of excess water.. (I think its water...) and it is staying off... which I love...
Hope you conceive soon also... and SSBD to you...
Glad you are getting your body ready to conceive! Vitamins are helping me a lot. My results have improved, now I just hope I will conceive soon!!

I actually just sent you a note that I bought it thru vitacost at $7.13 for 60 tabs... the same stuff... just more!!! My guy friend is going to vitamin shoppe cause he wants the store brand and since he is buying .... his own offered to buy but!!!
I should get it in 3-5 days... then we will see... they say to take it for about 2-3 months... and was planning to wait that long before trying again.. not sure if I will if things start changing...lol
I found some tribulus on sale for $3.80 but the sale could be over? Sounds like you find a good deal. I bought Source Natural Tribulus Extract 750 mg.

It appears to be real close to the same price for the tribulus. I found it close to my house at Vitamin Shoppe for $12.59 and that's without shipping... my question is did you buy a different brand than advertised? The Vitex is WAY cheaper for less then $7.
You are welcome! Like I mentioned, www.vitacost.com is a much cheaper site, so buy items from then. I am glad you got to see the video. I was excited to learn about tribulus, and I want more women to learn too! Sounds like you have a good plan!!

Have tried a couple of times to respond to your post but kept getting kicked out... Wanted to thank you for the info and went to a site on Natural fertility shop.com and watched a kewl video about ovulation. I intend to order the tribulus & vitex. Probably the Vitex first then the triblus. The guy who is helping me get pregnant is also willing to take the Tribulus for a couple of months before we try again...
I am also ordering OPKs & early preg tests.. doing the cheap ones for the next 2 months then the digital (as Adgal recommends) for the months when we will start trying...
I believe I also have an issue with progesterone and will use their natural cream if the Vitex doesn't straighten things out...
Wanted to thank you for this information!!! Can't wait to get started... I also carry extra weight which has been coming off and the Vitex is said to also help with that!!!
Thanks again,
: )

Yes, you can go into my journal and find a really good video link. Women who didn't ovulated started ovulating after taking Tribulus. I didn't buy it through that company. I first got it through my acupuncturist, but her version was pricey! I was happy to find a cheaper version on www.vitacost.com It is great for women hormonal balance. I can always send you the link of the version I bought if you want to read about it.

Did some reading on tribulus ... Which form did you use to assist in ovulation??? What I read is that it is used to assist men with testosterone production & sexual drive???!! Is there another form???
Hi Mary,
You might remember I had this happen to me back in June. My cycle was 35 days and then the next cycle I ovulated on cd 8! The following three cycles, I am back to cd 12-14, so everything is fine. Tribulus is good for ovulation. Read my journal and find the link I posted about it to read and watch a video. I found it online at www.vitacost.com for under $4 a bottle on sale.

I had problems with my period as well as ovulating.
I finally decided to do IVF to bypass this problem. Got pregnant last year on IVF # 1 with twins, lost both at ~ 8weeks. I didn't respond to IVF # 2. Am now pregnant at 26 weeks with IVF # 3. So far no complications and all is going well.
I have been on BC pills and Prometrium (progesterone) several times to induce a period. one or the other has always worked and then on Clomid to ovulate. BC pills last month induced a bleed, but was very light and then I didn't ovulate. So I just finished prometrium, had a normal period and hoping that this cycle of Clomid will do the trick!
it is super frustrating, but it has worked for me in the past. I wish you all the luck and I would talk to your dr. asap about jump-starting your cycle. I hate taking drugs, but at this point, it beats waiting for nature to do it's thing. :)
I am sorry that things have not worked out yet for you. I understand everyday seems like such a struggle when trying to fight the infertility world. I am on IVF #4 & if this doesnt work will probably try donor eggs.
Have you thought about trying IVF on your own first?
They can give you drugs to induce your cycle. I haven't had this personally, but I know it's not uncommon. I would most definately talk to your Dr. Good luck!!
BTW, I think egg donor is a wonderful option. If it were more readily available in Canada, it is something I would be considering as well. There are several success stories here from donor eggs.
I was in your shoes b4... I ended up having psco dr put me on metformin for my periods and clomid to get preg...
